STEM Kits for Kids

The Robertson Memorial Library is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Kit Grant through the Missouri State Library in the amount of $3527.62. Funds from this grant have been used to purchase 26 STEM Kits like the ones pictured below, for families to checkout from our library! STEM learning is so important for young minds to help develop critical thinking, ingenuity, creativity, teamwork, and life skills they will need for the future.  The kits were used weekly during the summer reading program story hour.  Kits are available to check out . Thanks to the Institute of Museum and Library Services

Technology Mini Grant project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of Secretary of State.
