local papers on microfilm: Higginsville Advance , The Jeffersonian, The Missouri Thalbote ( German) , The Leader & Rekhop/Peterson Collection 1860s to 1930s (studio portraits of groups, families and individuals; and scenes of the Higginsville and Concordia areas.
